Fine Print Gallery
Seasonal changes mark the year and reflect progression in
general patterns.
Spring time sparks new growth and the beginning of seasonal
warmth. Summer brings full flower, growth and maturation of long days, warmth
and development. Autumn presents some of the most vivid color changes with the
sky a most rich blue and sun light washing with a distinct quality. If I could
light a subject I would strive to emulate the seasonal quality nature grants
only with Autumn's natural light. Cold, snow, and ice symbolize a season of
rejuvenation which yields images of rest and invigoration in a field of
contrasts. Be it contrasts of texture, light, shadow, form or color, frozen
water in all forms presents a challenge to render print images accessible to a
receptive audience.
