Photographing live theater can be a challenge. The photographer has to anticipate the action to get that perfect shot. Technological advancements are a plenty, however, they cannot replace the artistry of the photographer. Here are some hints that I have found useful. No Flash! In most current productions, lighting designs are so bright; you will not need the flash. If there happens to be intimate or darker lighting, take it in stride and allow your creative instinct flourish; perhaps trying an alternate location or angle.I found some more information here. Some of my favorite shots have come from backstage. Next, don-t be a pest. If your camera makes some sounds other than the shutter, go through the menu and turn off the beeps! Moving on, if you cannot stop-by earlier to learn about some specific ‘shot- moments in the production, know that in musicals there is usually a button. A specific ‘hit- at the end of number where there is usually a pause for applause. This is a great place to snap away. Finally, don-t forget the chorus! Yes, the people that create some of the most memorable moments are the supporting cast of characters. Ensemble members are heartbeat of the show and create the atmosphere.

All photos are valued from a photographers point of view and getting the shot from more than one angle is of the utmost impotance. Family photos, school pictures and anything that needs to be caught on film is what the photgrapher has been trained to recognize. Having two cameras will give them a better idea of what the final product will be. Capturing a look, a scene or even a moment that may otherwise have been missed can be achieved with two cameras. If one does not “hit the mark”, the other will. Family gatherings, weddings, a child’s first steps. All these and more are why two cameras are a neccessity. Once you see the image you will realize that the second camera was essential. More images will be captured, not missed, simply by having the second camera available. Photographers know and value this even more. Even designers want to showcase their best work when announcing a fashion show or preparing for a magazine article. A second camera is one of the most important “accessories” a company can have, even if it means extra money spent in the beginning. Two is better than one and that saying is never more true.

One of the most important factors that can make or break a photo is the lighting. Lighting is a tricky concept for a lot of people because the techniques and equipment you use will change almost every picture; however there are some basic techniques you can use to insure that you get the best quality pictures.

When taking outdoor photos it is important to consider your natural surroundings. It is often best to have photos where the person or target of your photo is standing away from the background. You must also pay attention to where your light sources are.Get more information here. http://planetalgol.blogspot.com/2011/08/dont-be-cheap-with-lightingyour.html Depending on the surroundings you might find light reflecting from the floor or other structures. If this is happening use a reflector to redistribute the light onto your target from a more flattering direction.

When taking indoor photos you have more direct control over your light sources and will have less unwanted lighting effects. However you might need more equipment to get the desired lighting that you want. Although you can occasionally get away with it in outdoor photos, you should always have a flash for indoor photos. A backlight is also very important during indoor photos because you won-t have the natural light source to make your target pop out from the surroundings.

So you-ve spent a ton of money on a new camera and classes and you even got one of those Directv deals so you could watch your favorite photography show but for whatever reason your shots don-t seem to be improving. Here are a few simple tricks for becoming better than ever at photography.
Just Shoot: Photography is a lot like writingthe more you do it the better you get at it. If you-re stale it will show in your pictures so just keep shooting. After a while you-re bound to hit on one of the great shots that will reignite your passion.
Vary Your Angles: If your photography isn-t all that interesting try to find a new perspective. When photographing people leave off their heads, for example, or take pictures of animals only as they walk away. It-s how you-ll develop a style all your own.
Play With Filters: Ever wondered if your pictures would look any different in a different color? Use filters and lenses to mess with reality and watch your creativity blossom right before your eyes.

Hang it on a frig where all the people that come to your house will see. Frame the ones you love. Have a selling if you like to make money. Right around the holidays the community college have crafts shows. You will be able to show off all the crafts you like to make.

Not too long ago, professional photographers were the only people who had access to cameras with various types of lenses. Today, professional and amateur photographers alike can purchase the same style of cameras with supplementary lenses to capture life’s priceless moments and stunning scenery. These moments fill scrapbooks, are pinned on corkboard, can be encased in beautiful frames they add decoration to any room.

When selecting the suitable lens for the job, one needs to determine if the object in which they wish to shoot is close to the camera or a great distance away. The distance an article is from the camera plays a significant role in determining the type of lens to use.Additional information can be found at http://365intheburbs.wordpress.com/2011/05/17/hello-zoom-lens/. Another reason for selecting the appropriate lens for the job is to ensure the finest quality of the photo. If the quality is poor, the photograph could appear blurry and distorted.

Whether it is a professional photographer or Uncle Moe who is aiming to take the family photographs, a quality picture is the goal. While using the photographs to fill scrapbooks, decorate a bulletin board, or as a piece of art on the walls in homes, selecting the proper lens for the job is essential.

Photography is an excellent way for you to be creative while still expressing yourself. It would be wonderful if you could make some money at doing something that you are passionate about too, right? Well, now you can. If you have the right resources to do so that is. It is actually quite simple to sell the photos that you take for a profit. There are many sites for handmade items or simply items that people have made as a creative outlet for themselves. One such website is Etsy.com. Etsy.com is one of the most popular sites for those who want to sell their handmade wares. They only charge a small fee each time you list and sell one of your items. There is a large market for those who wish to sell their photos professionally in other areas as well. If you are looking for a little more exposure than an handmade items website you could try to sell your photographs to a local art dealer. You will want to possibly enhance your photos beforehand by using Photoshop to rid the picture of any distortions. Before presenting your photos to an art dealer it would be best for you to create a nice portfolio out of materials that can be found at any local crafts store. The more exposure you and your photographs get the more likely they will be to be sold.
